Glorious Books!

The Hunger Games. How do I even explain how wonderful these books are? There are two main characters. Katniss (who I dislike very greatly) Then... (Drum roll please) Peeta! My favorite character by the long run! In the picture you see two books right? Well it is a series... so is Maximum ride (See below) The third comes out in September!! I know! AGONY! It's hard to explain. The time is placed in the future. There are twelve districts that all represent something. Like district 11 represents growing food like veggies and fruit. and district 12 = coal and rock etc. Well there's this thing called the Hunger Games when two teens between the ages of 12- 17 from each district get called to participate. So Katniss and Peeta go to the Hunger Games and try to... Win... Lets say this book is a little gory but definetly a good read!!!! :)

My first is "Maximum Ride" It's about these kids who were tested in labs when they were little. Then they escaped. So the lab wants to get them back. They all have powers and well... wings! I enjoyed it so much! I read it in one day. Here's the gang: Max is 14, and Fang is 14 too. Then you have Iggy who is blind and is 13. Next there's Nudge who's talkitive and 11. Gasman is a eight year old. Last butnot least you have Angel who is six. None of them are really family except Gasman and Angel.

Summer!

Summer is finally here! No more school for about another three months! Jack and me were thinking about doing like, a hula hoop contest of some sort.
Lots of things have gone on since I last blogged. Jack got a buzz and his hair is super fuzzy (well sorta anyways) now. Anna and Jack are both going to start guitar. Luke is going to be in third grade! I know! He's getting really old! (hahaha) And as for me... Im going into sixth grade. So that will be really exciting I guess. I've already stayed up all night, twice. To be honest I"m very proud of myself. :)
I"m already school sick though, which is odd considering that this is only the second week of summer. Well have a good summer! :)

Anna's very first PROM!!

Anna had her first prom last Saturday! Her date was AJ. Mom and I were taking so many pictures!

Anna also went with Megan ( her friend) and Chas. Don't you just love their dresses!

Anna is putting on AJ's bootiner (or something, I can't remember!) Aj is putting on Anna's corsage! :D

This is Anna in her prom dress. They grow up so fast! She won't be here when I turn sixteen! (Sadness)

The Usual Update of the Unusual Banks

I've decided to tell everyone what I think of when I look at my sibilings.
Anna has Always been a natural musician. She makes her own songs on the piano and plays it really well!

I know wood doesn't seem like much... but it really is! Jack has walking sticks and carves many things out of it,and makes great forts! He always "sticks" to what he's doing... ( that was "punny")

Whenever I look in the mirror I see glasses and that's what I think or when I think of myself...

Luke is a great ledo builder! His commitment is awesome! Way-2-go!

April Showers, Bring May Flowers!

Wow! It's already April! You know how april is for rain? Well, April is for SNOW in Idaho! It's horrible. It just comes out of nowhere! Anyways, since I haven't poster in a long time I will fill you in on what's been going on for the banks family

Anna got her license a while ago. ( by a while I mean like months ago!) There is no better way to drive a mom crazy, then putting her in a car driven by her teenager! I was with Anna on her first drive (sniffle) It was a great experience!

Christmas snuck up on us and it was very fun! We all got what we wanted! Luke was given two lego sets and started building right away! He LOVES legos

Anna and Luke made a way cool design with a game we have! Ain't it pretty!?

Stratego!

Hey Everyone! Yesterday was Christmas! We got some really nice toys and games (all of which I will tell you later) that are super fun! One that we really love is a boardgame: Stratego. Mom played it when she was younger. It's where you have these little pieces and they have different people on them that have different powers. For example: The Dragon is worth ten. The mage is worth nine. You have to capture the flag piece of the other person's. Both you and the other person can't see what pieces their attacking. If I attack an elf which is four, and I'm a knight which is eight. I'd win. If you attack an Elf and you're an elf... your both dead... I haven't explained this very good... but it is a fun game! Someone's playing right now... That reminds me I'm playing the winner! Bye
